In this product Sigma try to maximize the capability of this lens , this zoom lens with super wide angle ( 122 degree on diagonal axis). This lens also equipped with special low dispersion technology that give effective compensation for chromatic aberration which became the common problem for super wide angle lens. To give the correction from distortion and aberration this lens has three aspherical lens. That's way sigma claimed thus best Sigma Camera Lens both for DSLR or manual SLR that still using film.

This Sigma Camera Lens has extreme design bigger shape measured at 87 X 103 mm and weight 600 gr. The front lens is really protrusive , as the mater of fact you can't put the filter in front there. But don't worry there us a gelatin slot for the filter at the back of the lens.

This lens is offer for the camera with APS-C sensor format , this lens also equipped with Hyper Sonic Motor Technology. To change the focus mode from automatic focus (AF) to manual focus (MF) us really easy you only turn the focus ring until closing the AF. Cons:

Really difficult to use the filter.
Front of lens shape half spherical so you must carefully.
