Ricoh GXR – Smallest Digital Camera

Ricoh GXR series offer something new , GXR is Smallest Digital Camerawith interchangeable lens where you can also change sensor. Each lens housed in a camera unit with image sensor, processing engine, shutter, aperture, focusing /zoom motor. These unit side into GXR body, which has no image sensor at all, the key is hardware is in the add on unit, so you will get a new sensation to your camera each time you buy new lens. The camera body made from die cast magnesium that corrosion resistant, 3 inch LCD display with can tilt up to 90 degrees is another attraction . For supporting you shooting in a low light Ricoh GXR ISO up to 3200. And there is auto macro setting , pre AF function to faster focusing.

But the flexibility of GXR is the main attraction, integrating lens, sensor and image processing in a single unit, makes possible to get pocket size and good image quality. Varying lens can be fitted into different sensor size or technologies with no waste glass and excess weight. If you wanna get compact camera sizes you can fitted small lightweight zoom. Or of you wanna get DSLR size you can put APS-C sensor wuth prime lens for highest image quality.

Some Lens for Ricoh GXR that offer on the market is Ricoh S10 24-72mm (equivalent with 35mm) f/2.5-4.4, 10 MP and 1/1.7 CCD sensor. And the close up specialist GR A12, 50 mm f/2.5 macro with 23.6 X, 15.7 mm ( APS-C ), 12.3 MP cmos sensor. Of course, the technology will be represent the price . Ricoh GXR for body only offer for about $ 660 and with the GR 50 mm macro lens $950.
